We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer interested to work on various solutions for the manufacturer of network cameras and video surveillance systems.

As a Back End Developer, you will work together with other Back End and Front End developers, Product Owners, and project managers in small and large web applications. In addition to new development, the team is also responsible for improvements, scaling, and maintenance of existing systems.

We expect from candidate to be experienced in:

  • Java (at least 4+ years)
  • Hibernate
  • Spring Boot and JPA
  • Kubernetes and Docker
  • GIT
  • Jenkins
  • REST API development
  • Cloud development (is a plus)
  • Design and development of scalable solutions with thoughts about security.

The person needs to be proactive and be able to take the initiative in new development. Proficiency in the Swedish language is an advantage. However, fluent English and communicative ability are crucial.

HIRING PROCESS

Pre-Selection

The pre-selection phase of the hiring process, addresses the matching of the candidate’s resume with the advertised Job Vacancy, in terms of required: skills, competencies, and expertise. If shortlisted, the contenders will be contacted and invited to an initial interview by a respective recruiter.

First Interview

The initial interview is conducted by a dedicated recruiter and technical interviewer/s. The candidates will have an opportunity to present themselves, highlighting their skills and qualifications for the job position. They will also get acquainted with the key information about the: company, job position, project they aspire for, as well as the team they will potentially work with. The Interview can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via digital video call.

Assessment and Profiling

During the hiring process, the candidates will be enrolled in several optional assessment and profiling activities, which evaluate the: knowledge, cognitive abilities, personality traits, skills, and/or interests. This information is essential for proper profiling of each candidate, as well as providing a suitable job match with the position the candidates are applying for.

Second Interview

Depending on the job position, the candidates have been interviewed for, as well as the scope of the job requirements, each candidate may be invited for a second interview. If so, the recruitment representatives will provide all the necessary information, so the candidates return confident and well prepared for a second interview.

Job Offer

Feedback is really important to us.
