We are searching for experienced Oracle Database Administrators (Exadata & ODA). You can expect a standard database administration activity of 10+ Database clusters including HA and DR implementations and DB backups management. You will have the opportunity to work on the telco domain project with a huge team of 20 experienced engineers working in the various fields of storage management, system engineering, DBA, and network administration. 

Please note that this opportunity is an on-site engagement in Switzerland.  For relocation opportunity, only candidates with EU passports will be considered. 

 

Job requirements:

  • At least 5 years of working experience with Oracle Database Products ranging from 11g to the latest version;
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database migrations;
  • Experience in using Oracle Enterprise Manager;
  • Experience with provisioning Oracle Database Products on Windows and Linux operating systems in both GUI and console mode;
  • Knowledge about Oracle LMS scripts;
  • Experience with configuration of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition Options and Management Packs;
  • Monitoring tools: CheckMK, NetGul, Nagios;
  • Experience with agile and ALM tools like TFS and JIRA;
  • Working experience with PL/SQL development;
  • Knowledge about grid/cloud control repository and Oracle warehousing.;
  • DB planning and design;
  • DB administration (backup/restore, maintenance, monitoring …)
