Do you consider yourself as a self-motivated OSS Operations and Support Engineer, willing to join our Managed Services Division and work on our client’s CRM application? Are you up for the challenge of working with a team of experts in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment?

 

If you possess:

  • Strong knowledge of OSS systems and the telecommunications domain.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
  • Proven experience in OSS system support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL and Oracle SQL for database management and query execution.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows administration to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems.
  • Familiarity with Telco networks and infrastructure, enabling you to understand and tackle industry-specific challenges.

 

Day to day challenges:

  • Oversee daily OSS processes, ensuring they run seamlessly and efficiently. If any issues arise, promptly troubleshoot and resolve them to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Execute operational tasks according to the predefined schedule, ensuring all activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the performance of our OSS systems, identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to both colleagues and clients, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Maintain detailed records of work activities, documenting all changes and updates made to the systems.
  • Manage and update technical documentation, ensuring it remains accurate and accessible for the team.
  • Actively participate in process and procedure improvement initiatives, striving to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

HIRING PROCESS

Pre-Selection

The pre-selection phase of the hiring process, addresses the matching of the candidate’s resume with the advertised Job Vacancy, in terms of required: skills, competencies, and expertise. If shortlisted, the contenders will be contacted and invited to an initial interview by a respective recruiter.

First Interview

The initial interview is conducted by a dedicated recruiter and technical interviewer/s. The candidates will have an opportunity to present themselves, highlighting their skills and qualifications for the job position. They will also get acquainted with the key information about the: company, job position, project they aspire for, as well as the team they will potentially work with. The Interview can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via digital video call.

Assessment and Profiling

During the hiring process, the candidates will be enrolled in several optional assessment and profiling activities, which evaluate the: knowledge, cognitive abilities, personality traits, skills, and/or interests. This information is essential for proper profiling of each candidate, as well as providing a suitable job match with the position the candidates are applying for.

Second Interview

Depending on the job position, the candidates have been interviewed for, as well as the scope of the job requirements, each candidate may be invited for a second interview. If so, the recruitment representatives will provide all the necessary information, so the candidates return confident and well prepared for a second interview.
