January 29, 2021. For the fifth year in a row, the software company Seavus is organizing a talent program for those who want to start a career as IT operations and support engineers.
Applicants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the operating processes and gain basic knowledge in several areas, such as: the basics of IT operations and support according to the ITIL standardization, the basics of Linux and Windows operating systems, an introduction to "cloud computing,” managing and maintaining MS SQL or Oracle servers, Shell and Powershell scripting, and an introduction to IT security.
The Talent Program will last for five weeks, starting in March, three times a week. Each course will consists of an eight-hour interactive and practical program led by our IT experts.
After completing the talent program, the best from the group will have the opportunity to be employed in Seavus in the Managed Services division, which for the second year in a row has been included in the list of top 100 Managed Services providers in the world.
“In the past five years, Seavus has employed 32 engineers who have built a successful careers. The experience of working as part of our division teams is a really big challenge for all engineers who have just graduated or are in the final year of their studies. Usually the interest for the talent program is great. We get between 30-50 applications. After the selection process, 12-15 candidates take part in the program," said Gligor Dobrivoevski, Technology Line Manager in the Managed Services division.
