4. Continuous Testing for AngularJS Application with Protractor and Jasmin by Gjore Zaharchev

Ok we are all following the new trends and trying to implement test automation. But, wait… Our test will run only on this environment and we need to rewrite it or add a completely new test for the other environment etc. etc. Is this the automated testing for which we have spent months and months? Are we just dealing with heavy maintenance and our existing test serve the purpose to satisfy the client with numbers and no practical use of it?

Applications are getting more and more complex every day and releases more and more frequent sometimes even on daily basis. Can we cover the testing with our existing tests and zero human interaction?

In the Software Testing there are no Right or Wrong ways, there are less useful and more useful approaches. This presentation will cover real life approaches for test automation and solution for the same. We will also give some answers like what to automate, when to automate, where to start and how to structure the tests.
Jasmin as a behavior driven testing framework and protractor as AngularJS oriented testing framework combined with the magic of Jenkins can leverage your tests to a completely new level.
